A 18-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries after a crash involving a lorry and car.

The crash happened on Friday night (December 8) just before 8.15pm on the A422 road at the junction for Akeley.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a white Toyota Yaris and a HGV were involved in the collision.

An 18-year-old woman suffered a broken right leg and broken wrist and was taken to hospital for treatment, where she remains at this time.

Investigating officer PC Kieran Dolphin of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Milton Keynes, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I would also urge anybody who may have captured the incident on dash-cam to please get in touch.
