Drivers are set to face delays after roadworks begun on a busy road.

Temporary traffic lights were installed in Watford Road yesterday near Croxley Station – which is set to cause disruption for motorists.

This is due Affinity Water carrying out essential maintenace, with the works set to continue until November 26.

Traffic is likely to be affected in The Green heading towards the roundabout that connects it to Watford Road, with drivers also likely to face delays in Scots Hill.

Affinity Water said on its website: "We are currently carrying out essential maintenance in your area, this is on-going work to improve our service to you – usually there will be little disruption to road users during these types of works which can include stop tap replacements, meter fits, leak detection and fixes among others – please scroll down to view the specific work being carried out."
