A crackdown on driving and parking in High Wycombe has resulted in vehicles being seized, drivers being arrested, and prosecutions for a range of offences.

On January 8, three drivers were arrested for drug supply, theft and non-payment of fines totalling £50,000.

There were also three drivers prosecuted for not having insurance.

Another driver was prosecuted for taking to the roads unsupervised on a provisional licence.

Tickets were issued to the public four times for seatbelts not being worn.

Another ticket was handed to a driver with no MOT.

An overweight vehicle was seized by police.

This came amid a joint operation from the Town Centre Neighbourhood Team and TVP Roads Policing.

Earlier this week, the Wycombe West Neighbourhood Team also took to the streets and ticketed and removed vehicles.
