A High Wycombe crack cocaine and heroin dealer has been jailed after getting blocked in a driveway following a police pursuit.

Jamie Tanachaisugit, 41, of Carrington Road, High Wycombe, was sentenced to four years in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, February 17.

He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug, namely heroin, and one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug, namely crack cocaine, as well as one count of possession of criminal property of cash, on October 3 2025.

At around 5pm on October 2 last year, officers had information to suggest that Tanachaisugit was dealing in from a grey Kia Sportage.

The Kia was sighted driving at speed along Copyground Lane.

Multiple police vehicles headed towards the location, but temporarily lost sight of it as the vehicle went up Carrington Road.

Once an officer saw the vehicle at the top of a very steep driveway, Tanachaisugit attempted to leave but was blocked in.

He was detained from the driver’s seat for a drugs search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Tanachaisugit had a black smartphone and £495 in cash, and could not provide police with a plausible reason as to why he was at the address.

When an officer conducted a property search on Carrington Road, assisted by a police dog, they discovered a plate on the bedroom floor with rocks on it, suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin, as well as scales and Rizla papers.

There was also £720 in a biscuit tin and 10 bags of cannabis in a tea tin in the lounge.

Tanachaisugit was arrested the same day and charged the following day.

Investigating officer, Marcus Rose of the Buckinghamshire Proactive Team, said: “I am pleased that our officers acted quickly to stop Tanachaisugit and have removed an offender from the streets of High Wycombe.

“We will continue to target those involved in drug dealing, using both visible patrols and covert tactics to disrupt their activity and bring them to justice.

"Our message is simple: if you deal drugs, we will identify you and we will take action.
