Wycombe Hospital's Urgent Treatment Centre reopens amid coronavirus fears
UPDATE: Latest updates at hospital unit forced to close amid coronavirus fears
A major unit at Wycombe Hospital was forced to shut earlier today due to a 'safeguarding incident'.
The Urgent Treatment Centre at Wycombe Hospital closed suddenly on February 25 with authorities saying it is a temporary move.
A spokesperson at the hospital said it was due to a 'safeguarding incident' and said they hope to reopen 'at some point today'.
It is not clear what has prompted the closure and it has not yet been linked to coronavirus.
In a statement released at 5pm, the Trust confirmed it was a temporarily close as a precautionary measure for 'infection control reasons'.

The Trust, which runs the hospital, also offers information on the coronavirus and what to do if you have travelled to certain countries.
The latest update on the virus - now named COVID-19 - on the Trust's website says: "The NHS in Buckinghamshire and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases.
"The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal."
