Wycombe's Connor Parsons stars in Beta Squad member's video
Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Connor Parsons took part in a YouTube video where internet personalities had to guess which contestant was a professional footballer.
Uploaded by the user Sharky, who is a member of the popular online comedy group Beta Squad, Parsons along with four other people were put through five separate challenges in which a participant was eliminated in each round.

The former Norwich City youngster made it through to the final where he lost a penalty shootout.

However, the judges concluded that Parsons was indeed the professional footballer based on his ability.

The five challenges were as follows:
1. The First Touch Challenge
2. The Question Challenge
3. The Passing Accuracy Challenge

5. And the Penalty Shootout Challenge
The second challenge saw each contestant get asked a question that focused on professional football, with Parsons revealing to the group that he was teammates with the now retired Adebayo Akinfenwa.
The video, which was uploaded to YouTube on Saturday, June 18 this year, has so far been watched 966,268 times and is expected to reach a million views before the end of this month.

The 21-year-old joined Wycombe as a free agent in August 2021, and has so far played three times for Wanderers.
All those games were in last season’s Football League Trophy, with the midfielder scoring on his Chairboys debut in a 3-1 home defeat against the Aston Villa Under 21s.

Prior to his move to Adams Park, Parsons has represented Norwich City, Non League Norwich United and Lowestoft Town, whilst also playing for Tindastóll and Dalvík/Reynir in Iceland.

Since joining Wycombe, he has since had two loan spells away from the club at Notts County and Bromley respectively.

He signed a new with the Chairboys this summer, with his current deal expiring next year.
