An investigation is underway after reports of a woman being threatened with a knife in Buckinghamshire.

Police are searching for information after reports of a knife-point robbery at around 2pm on Wednesday, January 28.

The force said a woman in her forties was walking on an overbridge when she was grabbed by an offender.

The person then held a knife to her stomach and demanded £10 in cash.

She then took the money before leaving the scene.

The incident took place near to Bradwell Common in Milton Keynes.

The woman was uninjured and now police have released a description of the person they are looking for.

The offender is described as a white woman, aged in her forties, around 5ft 5ins tall, of small build and with jaw-length brown hair in the shape of a bob.

She was missing front teeth and was wearing a red top and blue jogging bottoms with a backpack on her shoulder at the time of the offence.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Michael Edmonds, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this knifepoint robbery to please come forward.

“If you have CCTV cameras or a video doorbell in those areas, or if you were driving in the area with a dash-cam, please check your recordings in case they have captured something that could support our investigation.
