The chalets change from week to week giving visitors a chance to support a host of small businesses this Christmas.

The market is open Wednesday to Sunday 12pm to 7pm up until December 23.

The list was made after the top 50 suggested locations which appeared on Trip Advisor's 'Christmas market' results were given points for the number of and the percentage of 5 star reviews.

Heather Cobb, VP Member Engagement Marketing at Tide, added: “In our report, we discovered the locations for some of the best Christmas markets to visit this festive season – many customers appreciate businesses that provide great products or experiences, as well as personalised service, and local Christmas markets can be a great way for consumers to discover such companies.

"Independent businesses can take advantage of the expected rise in customer demand for unique gifts this year, and so should consider becoming a vendor at local markets in the coming months to make the most of the increased footfall."

As well as the Christmas Markets Waddesdon Manor are also preparing for a 'Winter Light' trail in the new year.

The gardens will be lit up with colour with a number of dazzling displays and trails with visitors also able to enjoy winter food and drink.
