A man who was contracted to remove surplus goods from a gardening job has been given a four-figure fine for fly-tipping.

On Boxing Day 2025 [Friday, December 26], the man in question was seen on CCTV pulling over into Iver where he dumped five sacks of garden waste in the village.

According to Buckinghamshire Fly-Tipping, who shared the crime on their social media pages on Monday, March 2, it was revealed that the person had been working in Slough and thought the area he attended was an ‘authorised site' for dumping waste.

He was given a £1,000 fixed penalty notice for his actions, which he has since paid.

A video of his crime has been viewed over 4,000 times on X [formerly known as Twitter].
