Ukrainian Authorities, Interpol and the Government have joined an urgent search for a missing Bucks teen after he left a note in the middle of the night saying he was "heading to Ukraine".

An appeal for help has been shared on social media after Cameron, 18, from Chalfont St Giles, stated that he wanted to "help those who need it most by either joining the Foreign Legion or the 3rd Assault Brigade".

It states: "He turned 18 just a couple of weeks ago and is in the middle of his mocks for A-levels and we need him home safely!"

The post explains young man has reportedly switched off his phone and landed in Poland, to cross the border to Ukraine.

Now, Thames Valley Police has confirmed that it is urgently investigating the situation with support from national and international organisations.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are conducting urgent enquiries to locate a missing man, Cameron, who was reported missing from Chalfont St Giles on Saturday (28/2).

“We are working closely with Interpol, the Ukrainian Authorities and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
