A candlelit concert celebrating one of rock’s most legendary bands is set to take place this autumn.

Queen by Candlelight will arrive at Wycombe Swan on Thursday, October 8, featuring West End vocalists and a live rock band performing some of Queen’s biggest hits.

Fans can look forward to a unique musical experience, with classic anthems including Bohemian Rhapsody, It’s a Kind of Magic, We Are The Champions, and Who Wants to Live Forever performed by candlelight.

Promoters of the show said: "Featuring a spectacular cast of West End Singers accompanied by an epic live rock band, experience Queen as you have never heard them before.

"The Show Must Go On! So, join us for this unforgettable experience guaranteed to Rock You!"

Queen, formed in London in 1970, rose to global fame with their frontman, Freddie Mercury, and a string of international hits.

Bohemian Rhapsody topped the UK singles chart for nine weeks and their 1981 Greatest Hits album remains the best-selling album in UK history.

Their performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert is ranked among the greatest in rock history by various publications.

Mercury’s final performance with Queen took place in August 1986 at Knebworth.
