A UK tour featuring platinum-selling group The Overtones is coming to High Wycombe.

Jukebox Idols, a high-energy show that celebrates the golden eras of music and movement, is coming to the Swan Theatre on July 2.

The show will star platinum-selling vocal harmony group The Overtones, who will perform alongside Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova and former Olympic gymnast and Strictly champion Louis Smith.

"We’re big fans of Strictly, so this feels like a perfect match.

The production promises a nostalgic journey through the biggest hits of the 1950s and 1960s, featuring music from legends such as Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and a host of Motown favourites.

The Overtones - Mark Franks, Darren Everest, Jay James and Mike Crawshaw - have enjoyed more than a decade of success, earning five Top 10 albums and performing at venues including The London Palladium and The Royal Albert Hall.

They have also appeared at major events such as The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Jukebox Idols will feature not only hit classics but also new material from The Overtones.

The group will release a brand new single, Our Love, on May 1, ahead of their upcoming album, Jukebox.

The track, co-written with Grammy-winning songwriter Eliot Kennedy and Tom Barker - who also serve as musical directors for the tour - will be performed as part of the show.

The tour will span 29 dates, beginning in Perth on June 2 and concluding in Malvern on July 5.

Stops include Glasgow, Liverpool, Leicester, Coventry, Aylesbury, Bournemouth, and many more.

Fans can expect a lively blend of timeless music, stylish choreography, and the signature flair of one of the UK’s most popular harmony groups, joined by world-class dance talent.
