Special constables are putting in extra shifts as part of the force’s support for National Volunteers Week, helping to tackle key community concerns.

Thames Valley Police said the volunteers have carried out speed enforcement and vehicle checks today, June 3 , in anti-social behaviour hotspots in Aylesbury.

In a statement on Facebook they said: "We observed generally good compliance, but issued 1 ticket for a driver travelling at 46 in a 30mph zone, and gave advice to 5 others who were just below our enforcement threshold."
