Buckinghamshire Business First is inviting all local businesses to join their Annual General Meeting on November 28 to be inspired about how business can be a force for good and lead the way to a #NetZeroBucks by rethinking plastic use.

A growing number of consumer brands, retailers and packaging companies are making commitments to design products using less plastic, better plastic, and exploring alternative re-usable materials.

The event will bring together various leaders who are using the low carbon economy to drive change, innovate, and capitalise on new business models.

There will be various guest speakers who will discuss subjects such as sustainable products and consumer expectations.

Philippa Batting, Managing Director of Buckinghamshire Business First, said: “We look forward to welcoming you to this specially themed AGM where businesses can learn more about the benefits of a Low Carbon approach to business: to capitalise on the transition to a new low-carbon economy and drive innovation in your business – and inspire your customers to follow!

“Join us at our AGM on the 28th, which is open to everyone, to identify new commercial opportunities for your business to innovate; meet local low-carbon champions - businesses that have transformed their products and business processes; talk to expert business advisers and learn about available funding, and network over complimentary drinks and canapés.”

The Annual General Meeting takes place on Thursday 28th November between 6.00pm and 8.30pm at The Room, High Wycombe Campus, Bucks New University, Queen Alexandra Road.
