Colton Footwear has officially closed its shop in Chesham.

After having been on the High Street for 13 years, the shoe retailer closed on Saturday, May 2.

The company announced the closure of its Chesham branch in March, with a closing down sale starting at the same time.

Colton shared a message on Facebook, posted on the final day, which said: "Today is our final day in Chesham, and it’s a bittersweet one.

"After an incredible 13 years, we are closing our doors.

"We love this town so much and want to say a massive THANK YOU for welcoming us and making us feel like a true part of your community."

"We’d love to see you one last time before we close," the shop added.

On the final day, the shop had a sale with all Clarks kids shoes selling for £12 and all adult shoes below half price.
