A disqualified driver who resisted police in High Wycombe has been banned from the roads for almost five years.

Mufaro Muguta was driving a Nissan Qashqai on London Road, Wycombe when he was stopped by police on March 16 this year.

High Wycombe Magistrates' Court heard how the motorist wilfully obstructed a police constable during the incident.

He went on to admit to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.

During a hearing in March, Muguta, of Hattersfield Close, Belvedere, Blexley, was disqualified from driving for four years and nine months.

The 32-year-old was also ordered to pay a £600 fine and £85 court costs.
