Rebellion Brewery have donated £9000 to Scannappeal, a vital local hospital charity.

This means the Marlow based brewery have now donated £300,000 to charity, something owners Mark Gloyens and Tim Coombes are "delighted" about.

Almost all the total has been donated by customers and supporters of the brewery whilst attending the popular biennial charity open weekends.

The weekends started as 'thank you' for the Rebellion customers but it has grown into two day event welcoming up to 4500 visitors.

Entrance to the event is free, as is the beer and entertainment with donations possible at the entrance.

Mark said: “We are delighted to have supported Scannappeal over many years.

"The equipment purchased with the help of money raised by the brewery has been of such benefit to the local community in times of need, who in turn have been such tremendous supporters of the brewery over the years.”

Star chef and and Scannappeal patron Tom Kerridge visited the Marlow brewery alongside the charity's chairman and director to pick up the cheque.
