Groups and schools are encouraged to host ‘Rudolph Run’ for Bucks charity.

The fundraising team at charity Rennie Grove Hospice Care are big fans of Christmas.

The team are asking schools and groups in the area to host a ‘Rudolph Run’, where they’ll provide the organisation with a resource pack which includes promotional posters, sponsorship envelopes, and a set of antlers for all taking part.

Each organisation will need to set the date, but the Rennie Grove team will be able to give an assembly or talk to those wishing to get involved.

Claire Redrup, Community Fundraising Manager at Rennie Grove, spoke of what the charity do: “Our Children’s Hospice at Home service is available day and night providing care and support to help life-limited children live the best life they can.

“An hour of nursing care costs £25 so if each family or individual could raise this, then organisations taking part will be helping to keep more families together at Christmas.

“We rely on the generosity of our local community to support events like this which is why raising sponsorship is so vital to the charity.”
