A pub has reopened after a three-week refurbishment with a brand-new look and an updated food menu.

The Nut and Squirrel in Milton Keynes unveiled its refreshed interiors, offering what it describes as a "stylish and cosy" atmosphere for visitors.

The pub has been redesigned to feel "like your home away from home," featuring a refreshed bar, new plush seating, and an "enhanced" dining room.

Harry Parker, general manager, said: "There's nothing better than seeing both new and familiar faces settling in by our fire.

"We can't wait for everyone in the community to see what we've done with the place.

"Whether you've been coming here for years or you're stepping through our doors for the first time, you'll still find that cosy, warm welcome that makes this pub so special."

The upgraded menu now includes pub classics alongside new options such as grilled salmon fillet, pork tomahawk, and a katsu chicken rice bowl.

Desserts include a banoffee sundae and a Belgian chocolate brownie.

The pub also offers a fixed-price menu, starting at £11.29 for three courses between midday and 5pm Monday to Friday, and £14.49 after 5pm.

A Sunday lunch menu is also available, with up to three courses available, including the classic pub roast, and the option to add a three-sides bundle of Cauliflower Cheese, Stuffing wrapped in Bacon and Yorkshire Puddings—for £6.49.

The pub is located near Buckingham and Bedford and close to The National Bowl, and is also dog-friendly, offering a dedicated space in the bar for four-legged companions, along with a canine menu and water bowls on request.
