Pioneering dance company BalletBoyz is set to perform at Wycombe Swan as part of a major UK tour.

The group, known for their innovative approach to dance, will be at the venue on June 13.

This performance is part of their extensive national tour, celebrating 25 years on stage and screen.

The tour, titled 'Still Pointless,' is one of the biggest UK dance tours this year.

It will feature revivals of works including Maxine Doyle's 'Bradley 4:18,' Liam Scarlett's 'Serpent,' and Russell Maliphant's 'Critical Mass.'

The show will incorporate live dance and film, taking audiences on a retrospective journey through the best moments from the past 25 years of BalletBoyz.

The company will open the show with an excerpt from Russell Maliphant's seminal work "Critical Mass," performed as part of the original show at the Roundhouse back in 2001.

The show will also feature the world premiere of a brand-new commission by up-and-coming choreographer Seirian Griffiths.

Artistic directors and BalletBoyz founders Michael Nunn and William Trevitt said: "We are delighted to return as Associate Artists to Sadler’s Wells with Still Pointless.

"Here are some of our favourite thought-provoking, ambitious, and entertaining BalletBoyz moments to celebrate a quarter of a century since we first started (which makes us sound far too old).

"25 years on we are still relentlessly referred to as ‘the boyz’ even well into our 50s, and we still relentlessly pursue new collaborations, new opportunities, and new ways of producing, presenting, and sharing exciting and moving works of art.

"Still Pointless showcases some of our greatest achievements, and highlights the values with which we approach the next decades of creating."

The full programme for Still Pointless includes 'Critical Mass' by Russell Maliphant, 'Motor Cortex' by Seirian Griffiths, 'Ripple' by Xie Xin, 'Fallen' by Russell Maliphant, 'Young Men' by Ivan Perez, 'Serpent' by Liam Scarlett, 'Bradley 4:18' by Maxine Doyle, 'Us' by Christopher Wheeldon, and 'Fiction' by Javier de Frutos.

The company, founded in 2000, has established itself as one of the most original and innovative forces in modern dance.

They have won numerous awards, including an Olivier Award, National Dance Awards, an International Emmy, and The Golden Prague and Rose d’Or Awards.
