The report placed strong emphasis on safeguarding, praising the team for creating an “open and positive culture of safeguarding” and ensuring that “children are made safer and feel safe.”

Staff were also commended for building strong relationships with children. The report noted that “relationships between staff and children are exceptionally strong,” with children showing high levels of emotional security and trust in those caring for them.

Inspectors found that “all children make consistently strong progress across the curriculum,” supported by a well-balanced approach to learning.

Activities are designed to encourage independence, curiosity and confidence, with children engaging in both adult-led and self-chosen play.

The nursery’s inclusive approach was also highlighted, with staff adapting support to meet individual needs.

Ofsted noted that “Staff gather information about children to identify any potential barriers to learning,” helping ensure all children can access learning and continue to make progress.

A focus on communication and language was also recognised, with songs, rhymes and daily interactions helping to build vocabulary and prepare children for school.

Nursery manager Kirsty Colley welcomed the report, saying: “We are immensely proud of the environment we have created together with our team.

"Creating a secure, caring environment where children feel secure, encouraged, and eager to learn has always been our main goal.

"This report shows how far the nursery has come and how committed our colleagues are to helping each child grow every day.”

The report also praised the nursery’s partnership with families, highlighting close collaboration with parents to support each child’s development.
