A nursery has received a ‘Good’ rating in all areas of activity by Ofsted.

Partou Old Town Day Nursery and Pre-school in Beaconsfield was praised for being well-resourced and for its ambitious and sequenced curriculum following an inspection.

The nursery, housed in a purpose-built setting, offers two large indoor rooms and a fully equipped outdoor space where children can run and play freely.

The Ofsted inspector noted that children "arrive happy and confident" and are greeted by staff who "provide a warm welcome and engage in conversation about the plans for the day."

Staff were commended for being "attentive to the individual needs of children," supporting their emotional development and overall well-being.

The report highlighted the strong bonds children form with staff and the sense of belonging they feel at the setting.

The inspector described the nursery as "well-resourced," with planned activities that encourage purposeful play and learning.

Children were observed being kind to one another, maintaining focus during play, and displaying positive attitudes towards their learning.

Staff were credited with delivering "an ambitious and sequenced curriculum" that reflects the interests and needs of each child.

The report also praised the nursery’s partnerships with families, noting that parents "speak highly of leaders and staff" and feel well supported through open and effective communication.

Safeguarding arrangements were deemed "effective," supported by "an open and positive culture" that prioritises the interests of children.
