A nostalgic day party mixing R&B, good vibes, and deep cuts is set to take over the dancefloor.

The event will take place at High Wycombe’s newly refurbished Labyrinth - formerly Trilogy - on Saturday, May 2, from 2pm to 8pm.

Curated by DJ Neville Joseph, known as Big Worm and The Refix King, the day promises 'music that touches you before anyone else does'.

Mr Joseph said: "When you go out now, you hear the same big tracks.

"And don’t get me wrong, we love those too. But we’re taking it further than that.

"This is about the songs you forgot you loved."

A veteran of the music scene with more than 30 years behind the decks, Mr Joseph is known for his versatile sets and has a particular passion for R&B.

He has worked alongside event promoter Nick Ayling to shape the event.

The line-up will also feature Mr Joseph’s wife, DJ Amy Amez, alongside guest DJ Simple Simon (Galflex).

MC Krimz (Vibez R Nice) will host the day, bringing crowd interaction, personality, and high energy.

Mr Joseph said: "This is about love. About partnership. About sharing a space with people who are living life at the same time as you - and finding common ground through music."

The event promises to deliver more than just music, with interactive moments, competitions, and opportunities for the crowd to get involved throughout the day.

Organisers hope to create a vibrant, feel-good experience that resonates with every guest.

The daytime schedule is designed with real life in mind - giving people the opportunity to enjoy themselves without cutting into the rest of their weekend.

Ms Amez added: "As parents ourselves, we know it’s not always easy to get out.

"This way, you can sort the kids, come out, enjoy yourself properly, and still be home at a reasonable time - or carry on your night if you want to."

With a focus on joy, nostalgia, and togetherness, the organisers are keeping ticket prices low and accessible, but encourage early purchase as prices will rise closer to the event.

The team wants people to 'leave lighter' than when they arrived - reconnected to themselves, to each other, and to the music that shaped a generation.

Mr Joseph said: "We want people to leave whatever they’re carrying at the door.

"Life isn’t always straightforward. You might not arrive with your best friend, your partner, or even someone you’re getting on with that day.

"But for those hours, we want everyone in that room to feel connected."
