Norden Farm Centre for the Arts has unveiled its August cinema line-up featuring films for all tastes.

The schedule includes 'Bring Baby' screenings, relaxed school holiday viewings, and captioned showings.

Christopher Nolan's latest release, The Odyssey, rated 15, leads the line-up.

The film follows Odysseus on his decade-long journey home from the Trojan War.

Jodie Foster stars in the French-language mystery thriller, A Private Life, rated 12A, which follows psychoanalyst Lilian Steiner as she investigates the suspicious death of a former patient.

World cinema fans can look forward to seeing Mads Mikkelsen in the dark comedy The Last Viking, rated 15, as a man who believes he is John Lennon.

The line-up also features The Last One for the Road, rated 15, a road trip across Northern Italy, and Bitter Christmas, rated 15, from director Pedro Almodóvar.

In the comedy-drama Holy Days, rated 12A, a young boy finds refuge with three elderly nuns at a run-down convent facing shutdown.

The darkly comedic drama & Sons, rated 15, features performances from Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton.

The story follows a reclusive novelist who summons his estranged sons home, convinced he is about to die, only for an unbelievable secret to be revealed.

National Theatre Live: The Misanthrope is set to be screened in September.

Sandra Oh stars in this reimagining of Molière’s classic dark comedy.

Other event cinema screenings include Lesley Manville and Aidan in National Theatre Live: Les Liaisons Dangereuses.

The Invite, rated 15, follows Joe and Angela’s marriage on thin ice.

A dinner party with their enigmatic upstairs neighbours takes an unexpected turn.

Spike Lee directs David Byrne's American Utopia, rated 12A, offering a look at his Broadway show reflecting on human connections and life.

Sian Clifford from Fleabag stars in Lady, rated 15, an off-beat comedy about a lonely, narcissistic aristocrat who tricks a struggling director into filming her every move.

The relaxed summer holiday screenings feature Minions & Monsters, Toy Story 5, and Disney’s live-action Moana.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, rated 12A, will also be shown, following Peter Parker as he fights crime in a world that doesn’t remember him.

The film line-up, coupled with a café bar, lunch and dinner menus, and free on-site parking, provides an ideal opportunity to enjoy a movie at Norden Farm this season.
