Families can witness the arrival of newborn lambs at a special half-term event this February.

Odds Farm Park, near Beaconsfield, is launching its annual 'Love and Lambs' event, which promises visitors the chance to experience the magic of lambing season up close.

Visitors will have the chance to see the newborn lambs in the Little Hooves Nursery and learn more about lambing through daily farmer-led talks.

More than 25 ewes are expected to give birth during the February holiday, with many carrying twins or triplets.

Louise Winslow, assistant general manager at Odds Farm Park, said: "Our event gets underway on Valentine’s Day so it seemed fitting we should be celebrating both love and lambs this February.

"Our lovely pregnant ewes are currently in our maternity wing where they are being cared for and monitored by our team of shepherds.

"We are expecting more than 50 little ones to be born over the half-term break."

The event also includes live entertainment, with a new show featuring Shep the sheep dog and Lollipop the lamb.

Ms Winslow added: "We will have interactive animal demonstrations including rabbit time, piggies snack time and the goat show everyday so visitors will have the chance to get up close with some of our furry friends here at the farm."

Young guests can enjoy heart-themed crafts in the Odds’ Craft Barn, while the farm also offers indoor soft play, outdoor adventure play, and mini golf.

The 'Love and Lambs' event runs from February 14 to February 22.
