A new Kwik Fit garage has opened in a Bucks town centre.

The official opening of the automotive service and repair centre took place in Beaconsfield yesterday, November 10.

It’s the company’s first new location in Bucks for 15 years, and the Beaconsfield Town Mayor, Councillor Anita Cranmer, joined manager Mark Carter and the Kwik Fit team in cutting the ribbon to mark the event.

The garage is at the former Broadway Tyres site, at 2 Warwick Road, which has been refurbished following the retirement of its previous owner.

He wanted to ensure continuity of service for the garage’s customers, and that the centre saw the investment required to meet drivers’ future needs as vehicle technology develops.

It now provides Kwik Fit’s wide range of products and services, including tyres, brakes, servicing and MOTs and has retained staff who have been serving the town for many years.

The company has stated that it also made a significant investment in laser wheel alignment and the ability to service electric vehicles.

It said: "This ensures that whatever their car, drivers can be confident that they will receive the highest standard of support."

Councillor Anita Cranmer, Mayor of Beaconsfield, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kwik Fit to Beaconsfield and officially open the company’s new centre.

"I’m really impressed with the investment made in the centre, but also the fact that they have retained the same staff who have served the town so well for many years.

"I wish Mark and his team many more years of business success in Beaconsfield.”

Mark Carter, centre manager at Kwik Fit Beaconsfield, said: “We’re absolutely blown away by the investment in the centre and all the new equipment.

"Our customers have already been remarking on the difference.

"We’ve been serving the town’s motorists for many years, led brilliantly by our previous owner, David.

"After David’s well deserved retirement, we’re really happy to be part of the Kwik Fit network.

"We would like to thank Councillor Cranmer for officially marking our opening as a Kwik Fit centre.

“If anyone would like to try us out, then this Friday and Saturday will be a great time to come as we have loads of prizes to be won and also offers on all products and services.

"Customers will see we have the very latest equipment to help us keep Beaconsfield drivers safe on the road and give them peace of mind motoring, whatever car they’re driving.”

This Friday and Saturday ( November 14-15) will see further celebrations at the garage with Continental Tyres’ “Spin to Win” game.
