A new Italian restaurant has opened in Chalfont St Peter.

Amore, which is based in Market Place in the village, officially unveiled itself to the public in November, with the business receiving rave reviews from customers.

It replaces the outgoing Indian restaurant, Raj Darbar, which closed earlier this year.

Alberto Gulotta, Amore’s owner, said: “We wanted to bring the true spirit of Italian hospitality to Chalfont St Peter, great food, great wine, and the feeling of being part of our family.

“Every dish we serve is made with care, passion, and, of course, a little bit of Amore.”

Since its opening in November, the business has received numerous positive online reviews from customers.

At the time of writing, Amore has a score of 4.8/5 from 11 reviews.

One reads: “Absolutely outstanding.

“I recently visited this new Italian restaurant, and it completely exceeded my expectations.

“From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home.

“Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour.

“You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients and cook with genuine passion. It’s rare to find a place that combines top-notch food, welcoming service, and cosy ambience so perfectly.

“I can’t wait to go back —this spot is a true gem and a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood.

“Welcome to Chalfont St Peter.”
