A speeding motorist has been reported as part of a police roads crackdown in Marlow.

A police spokesperson said: "At 30mph, the average stopping distance is around 23 metres.

"At 40mph, this increases to around 36 metres — more than a car length extra.

"In wet conditions, stopping distances can be significantly longer, increasing the risk of collisions.

"Please remember to slow down, especially in poor weather. Speed limits are in place to keep everyone safe."
