A motorcyclist has been hospitalised after suffering serious injuries in a crash with a car in Buckinghamshire.

Police were called at around 4pm on Friday (June 6) after a crash between a red Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Honda CR-V.

The incident took place on the A413 from Whitchurch heading towards Hoggeston.

The motorcycle collided with the car which was travelling in the opposite direction on Hurdlesgrove Hill.

The bike rider suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital where they are being treated.

The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured.

No arrests have been made at this time and police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.

PC Polly Rayner, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision or who saw either vehicle prior to the incident to please get in touch."

“I would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage captured in the area at the time.”
