More coronavirus mobile testing sites are coming to Buckinghamshire over the coming week in a bid to stop the spread of the illness across the county.

This is where you can get tested this coming week:

  • Princes Risborough - Saturday, September 26
  • Aylesbury - Monday, September 28, Tuesday, September 29, and Wednesday, September 30
  • High Wycombe - Friday, October 2, Saturday, October 3, Sunday, October 4

Residents are being urged not to try and book a test unless you have coronavirus symptoms or unless you have been specifically advised to get one by a medical professional.

You can arrange a test for someone else in your household if they have symptoms.

Symptoms include:

  • A new continuous cough
  • A loss or change to sense of smell or taste
  • High temperature

Tests at mobile sites should always be booked first and are not available on a ‘drop-in’ basis.

Further details of the testing sites will be provided on booking.

To arrange a test, and for the latest guidance, go to and click on the appropriate link for you within the ‘testing’ section of information.

It is also possible to order a home testing kit via the website.

If the mobile testing sites are fully booked, you will be offered testing at the next-closest location.

A testing centre operating in Slough is also currently open to Buckinghamshire residents, for booked-in visits only.

Gareth Williams, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Community Engagement at Buckinghamshire Council, said: “If you have coronavirus symptoms, please book a test as soon as you can and isolate unless you get a ‘negative’ result.

"It’s really important that everyone in Buckinghamshire remains vigilant and continues to follow the guidance.

"By working together, we can help stop the spread of the virus, and testing is a vital part of this.”
