Crowds are set to gather in Marlow this month for the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival.

The two-day celebration, which takes place on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, will once again be held in Higginson Park, bringing together competitive rowing and live music on the banks of the River Thames.

Organised jointly by Marlow Town Regatta & Festival and Marlow Rowing Club, the event has been a staple of the town’s summer calendar for more than 150 years.

Racing will run from 8am to 6pm across both days, featuring junior and masters crews from clubs, schools and universities across the country.

A highlight of the weekend will be the traditional “head to head” race between Sir William Borlase’s School and Great Marlow School.

Alongside the rowing, visitors can enjoy food stalls, a riverside bar run by Marlow Round Table, and live entertainment broadcast by Marlow FM, with music starting from mid-afternoon and continuing into the evening.

Around 150 picnic pitches will be available, while two enclosures offer views of the racing and access to facilities.

A strict dress code will apply in the Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure from late morning, with organisers encouraging a smart, traditional style to match the occasion.
