A man has been fined in High Wycombe after he was found with a Nitrous Oxide cannister during a vehicle stop and search yesterday, November 8.

On the same day, two stolen vehicles were later recovered by Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce in Bucks.

The force stated: "PC Little and PC Akers have had a busy Saturday.

"One male was stopped in the High Wycombe area and searched under S23 Misuse of Drugs Act during which a Nitrous Oxide cannister was located in his vehicle.

"The male was given a fine for the offence."

The PCs then recovered two stolen vehicles.

The first, a Ford Ranger, was found near High Wycombe, its ID had been changed since having been stolen in November 2024.

In Aylesbury, a Toyota CHR was recovered, and it had also had an ID change.

It had been stolen in August.

Police warned: "Both were sold on to unsuspecting buyers.

"Investigations are underway.

"Please ensure you carry out thorough checks including history checks on the number plate and VIN when buying second hand vehicles, no matter where you buy them from."
