A man received roadside treatment following a collision between a car and a telegraph pole.

At around 1.50 pm on Sunday, March 1, paramedics from the South Central Ambulance Service, along with fire crews from Gerrards Cross, Slough and Theale, attended the scene along Rowley Lane in Wexham.

According to Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue,  firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release one man who was injured at the scene.

He was treated for his ailments on-site.

It was later revealed that after the car had hit the pole, the vehicle became lodged in a ditch.

Thames Valley Police were made aware of the incident and ‘made the scene safe’ for departing several hours later.
