A man in his 70s has been found dead at a property in Marlow.

Thames Valley Police said officers were called to an address in Sandygate Road on Saturday, July 18.

The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have confirmed the death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.

In a statement, Thames Valley Police told the Free Press: "Officers were called to an address in Sandygate Road, Marlow, on Saturday 18 July.

"Sadly, a man aged in his 70s was located deceased at the property.

"The man's death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."

The man's family have been informed.

Police said their thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
