A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious road collision.

The incident happened on June 1 at 7.50am on Winslow Road, between Winslow and Little Horwood, and involved a white and blue Renault HGV and a white BMW R1300 motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, remains in hospital.

Detective Sergeant Ed Crofts of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family at this difficult time.

"We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of this collision and would urge anyone who witnessed it or who may have relevant footage, to come forward."

Police are appealing to anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash or who has dash-cam, CCTV, or door cam footage along Winslow Road.

No arrests have been made at this time.
