A Buckinghamshire man is due in court accused of assault and impersonating a police officer.

Calvin Whitehorn is due to attend Reading Magistrates' Court on January 12, 2026.

It follows an incident at around 7pm on November 12 when an attempted robbery was reported to have taken place on Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes.

The alleged victim fled the scene without suffering any injuries or losing any personal belongings.

Whitehorn, 22, of Shackleton Place, Oldbrook was charged with one count of impersonating a police officer and one count of assault by beating on Sunday, November 23.

He was released on police bail on the same day.
