A 36-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and strangulation offences after a Bucks incident.

Police have asked the community to stop 'speculation' on the 'incident' on Kingston Avenue, Stony Stratford, which occurred on Sunday, November 23, stating that the charges are in connection with it.

Steven Tuttle, 36, of Newcombe Road, Northampton, was charged on Monday, December 1, with one count of grievous bodily harm without intent and another count of intentional strangulation.

Tuttle is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court later today, December 2.

On Facebook, a police spokesperson added: "We are aware of speculation on community channels regarding this incident.

"Now that proceedings are active, we would ask people not to speculate as misinformation could risk prejudicing active proceedings."
