A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child, Thames Valley Police have confirmed.

Officers were called at around 9.30 pm on Sunday, February 22, where the man was taken into custody.

He has since been released on conditional police bail until the end of May while enquiries continue.

Due to the severity of the case, the force has stated that the exact location of the arrest can not be disclosed, but it is believed to have occurred in the High Wycombe area.

They added that the case remains under active investigation.
