The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Jersey Boys is coming to the Wycombe Swan Theatre.

As part of its 20th anniversary UK and Ireland tour, the hit show will run in High Wycombe from Monday, August 24, to Saturday, August 29.

It tells the true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and their rise from New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, featuring songs like Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, and Can't Take My Eyes Off You.

The tour is led by Luke Baker as Frankie Valli, Carlo Boumouglbay as Tommy DeVito, Lewis Kennedy as Nick Massi, and Toby Miles as Bob Gaudio.

Ellis Kirk will perform as the alternate Frankie Valli.

Supporting cast members include Aiden Carson as Joey, Artemis Chrisoulakis as Francine, Sydnie Hocknell as Mary Delgado, Michael Levi as Bob Crewe, and Olivia Mitchell as Lorraine.

The tour is staged by the original Broadway creative team, including director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo.

The touring show will also travel to cities including Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Southampton, and Oxford, with more dates to be announced.

Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe.

Since its debut in New York on November 6, 2005, Jersey Boys became the 12th longest-running show in Broadway history before closing on January 15, 2017.

It later returned to New York for a second run from November 2017 to May 2022.

The musical originally played in London’s West End from March 18, 2008, to March 26, 2017 - making it the sixth-longest-running West End musical at the time.

It returned to the West End as the first show at the reinstated Trafalgar Theatre from April 14, 2021, to January 4, 2024.

Jersey Boys has been seen by more than 30 million people worldwide and has won 65 major awards, including the Tony, Olivier, and Helpmann Awards for Best New Musical.

The show follows the journey of four men from New Jersey who found fame with an unforgettable sound.

Though the group’s harmonies made them famous, the off-stage story was one of struggle, heartache, and eventual triumph.

The 20th anniversary tour is scheduled to stop at locations across the country from June 2026 through July 2027.

The creative team includes associate director and choreographer Danny Austin, scenic designer Klara Zieglerova, costume designer Jess Goldstein, lighting designer Howell Binkley, and sound designer Steve Canyon Kennedy.
