Jeremy Kyle Show is AXED - are they right to cancel it?
The Jeremy Kyle Show has been permanently cancelled by ITV following the death of a guest, the broadcaster has said.
The future of the show was thrown into doubt after the death of a guest who failed a lie detector test.
Steve Dymond is believed to have killed himself after appearing on the ITV programme earlier this month.
He took a lie-detector test to convince his fiancee he had not been unfaithful, but was told he had failed.
And he later told his son that host Mr Kyle ‘really laid into’ him.
Were they right to axe it? Vote below.
Jeremy Kyle - Peter Byrne/PA Wire
News of Mr Dymond's death prompted an outcry and ITV was urged to end the confrontational programme for good.
And it's understood that TV bosses have taken the step to cancel it for good.
We’d love to talk to anyone who has been on the show, or has friends or relatives that have.
Or perhaps you have been thinking of applying to appear.
Get in touch here or message us on Facebook.
We’d also like to know what you think.
Should the Jeremy Kyle show have been axed? Is it simply TV voyeurism that has no place in modern society?
Or should people be able to air their problems on TV and face the grilling of a TV host and audience if they so choose?
