The sky over Wycombe was a sight to behold at the weekend as dozens of hot air balloons took part in an annual festival.

Residents both young and old were kept entertained throughout the Easter Bank Holiday weekend as the Black Horse pub in Great Missenden played host to their popular annual hot air balloon festival.

The pub, in Aylesbury Road, has its own hot air balloon club and its members kept hundreds of people entertained with morning and afternoon flights over the Bank Holiday from Friday afternoon to Monday.

The glorious weather provided the perfect conditions for the annual spectacle to go ahead - with dozens of multi-coloured balloons taking to the skies.

The balloons were spotted gliding over High Wycombe and the rolling Chiltern hills - giving avid photographers the chance to capture some stunning pictures to remember the moment.

Members of the Bucks Free Press Camera Club were out and about across the south of the county snapping photos of the fantastic festival in action - and photographer Phil Mustow even managed to capture a spectacular photo of a balloon over the iconic Golden Ball at St Lawrence’s Church in West Wycombe.
