Weekly round-up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court:
April 25:
- Adil Tabassum, 36, of Cranbourne Close, Slough. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Cippenham Lane, Slough, on May 11, 2021. Speed recorded was 37mph. Fined £138. Costs £119. Driving record endorsed with three points.
- Sasha Martin, 29, of Wingate Walk, Aylesbury. Criminal damage to property valued under £5,000. On March 4, in Wingate Walk, Aylesbury, damaged a window and a television of unknown value belonging to Living Horizons. Committed to prison for two weeks concurrent. Assault by beating in Aylesbury on March 4. Committed to prison for 12 weeks. Failing to comply with a community protection notice. On February 22, in Milton Keynes, failed to comply with the notice by being in possession of an open vessel of alcohol and consuming the contents and found to be drunk in a public place. No separate penalty. Total length of sentence 12 weeks.
- Jake Gilfillan, 18, of Glenister Road, Chesham. Possession of a controlled Class B drug. On April 8, in Aylesbury, had a quantity of cannabis in their possession. Fined £80. Costs £85.
- Roy Taylor, 56, of Moorfield Road, Denham Green. Racially aggravated harassment by words or writing in Gerrards Cross on July 24, 2021. Fined £330. Costs £675. Using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress in Gerrards Cross on July 24, 2021. Fined £220.
- Shaun Batty, 53, of Hampden Road, Stoke Mandeville. Driving over the drink drive limit in Terrick, Stoke Mandeville, on January 2. Must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Costs £180. Disqualified from driving for 25 months.
April 26:
- Michael McClure, 23, of Holtspur Way, Beaconsfield. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in London Road, High Wycombe, on July 5, 2021. Fined £240. Costs £124. Disqualified from driving for six months.
- Kate O’Brien, 66, of Green Lane, Prestwood. Failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence between June 25, 2021 and July 23, 2021. No totting disqualification. Fined £120. Costs £124. Driving record endorsed with three points.
- Muhammed Bukhari, 18, of Sharrow Vale, High Wycombe. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance on the A355, Beaconsfield, on August 11, 2021. Fined £440. Costs £134. Disqualified from driving for nine months. Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence in Beaconsfield on August 11, 2021. No separate penalty. Failing to comply with a red light at a signal-controlled crossing on the A355, Beaconsfield, on August 11, 2021. No separate penalty.
- Deane Stanley, 37, of Colne Orchard, Iver. Failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence between March 30 and April 27. Fined £667. Costs £157. Disqualified from driving for six months.
- Richard Jefferies, 36, of Pallatia Court, High Wycombe. Going equipped for theft. On March 30, in High Wycombe, was outside their place of abode with an article for use in the course of theft, namely a foil lined box concealed within a rucksack. Committed to prison for six weeks. Costs £85. Foil lined box to be forfeited and destroyed. Theft from a shop. On March 10, in High Wycombe, stole Ferrero Rochers to the value of £66 from Sainsbury’s. Committed to prison for six weeks concurrent. Possession of a controlled Class A drug. On March 30, in High Wycombe, had a quantity of heroin in their possession. Committed to prison for six weeks. Heroin to be forfeited and destroyed. Possession of a controlled Class A drug. On March 30, in High Wycombe, had a quantity of crack cocaine in their possession. Committed to prison for six weeks. Crack cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed. Total length of sentence 12 weeks.
- Mark O’Donnell, 29, of Buckingham Road, Aylesbury. Criminal damage to property valued under £5,000. On April 14, in Buckingham Road, Aylesbury, destroyed clothes of unknown value belonging to another person. Compensation £70. Criminal damage to property valued under £5,000. On April 15, in Harvey Road, Aylesbury, damaged a window of unknown value belonging to another person. No separate penalty. Common assault in Whaddon Chase, Aylesbury, on April 14. Committed to prison for eight weeks. Compensation £50.
