A community protection notice has been issued to a Marlow house following numerous reports of ‘repeated anti-social behaviour and drug use’.

The letter was sent out on October 9 to those living at an address along Gunthorpe Road in the town.

It relates to several incidents going back to March of this year.

The letter reads: “This letter is issued by Thames Valley Police in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council because it is considered that you are responsible for behaviour which is persistent and/or continuing and that this is having a detrimental impact on the quality of life of others in the local community.

“This behaviour is believed to be unreasonable.”

It then states that a warning was issued to the person or people involved on March 21 this year, however, multiple reports have been made to the authorities about those living at this particular property.

The letter then continues by suggesting that the conduct of those responsible has been ‘unreasonable’ and that the behaviour has led to those in the neighbouring areas having a ‘detrimental effect' on their ‘quality of life’.

A statement from Thames Valley Police High Wycombe reads: “Any further breaches may now be subject to a Court Summons and could have severe consequences for any housing tenancy.”

The Marlow Neighbourhood Police Team issued the community protection notice.
