A major UK tour of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Operation Mincemeat is coming to Wycombe.

The critically acclaimed production will take to the stage at Wycombe Swan as part of a 40-week national tour.

Operation Mincemeat is running in both London and New York, with its West End run recently extended for the seventeenth time through to September 27, 2026.

Following its West End and Broadway success, a new cast has been announced for the UK touring production, featuring returning and new talent.

West End alumnae Christian Andrews, Seán Carey, Charlotte Hanna-Williams, and Holly Sumpton will reprise their roles, joined by Jamie-Rose Monk.

Additional cast members include Katy Ellis, Georgina Hagen, Jordan Pearson, and Morgan Phillips.

The show, written and composed by David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson, and Zoë Roberts of SpitLip, has become the best-reviewed show in West End history.

Directed by Robert Hastie, the show features choreography by Jenny Arnold, set and costume design by Ben Stones, lighting design by Mark Henderson, and sound design by Mike Walker.

Operation Mincemeat tells the true story of a World War II British intelligence deception.

Set in 1943, it follows the Allied forces as they attempt to deceive the Nazis using fake documents planted on a corpse.

Operation Mincemeat has sold over 500,000 tickets on the West End and Broadway.

The musical has won 25 awards, including Best Musical at the Olivier Awards, WhatsOnStage Awards, BroadwayWorld Theater Fans’ Choice Awards, and Off West End Awards.

Following its UK tour, the production is set to visit the USA, Australia, Canada, China, Mexico, and New Zealand.

Operation Mincemeat will run at the Wycombe Swan Theatre from Monday, September 28 to Saturday, October 3, 2026.
