Historic-looking aircraft spotted over Amersham
People in Amersham may have noticed an unusual sight in the skies after a what appears to be a vintage aircraft was seen flying over the town.
A photograph of the aircraft shared on social media shows it passing overhead with markings visible on the fuselage and tail.
The image appears to show a large multi-engined aircraft, with a commenter on the post suggesting it is a B-17.
The post says the aircraft was photographed while flying over the Amersham area on Friday, September 11.
No information has been released about the aircraft's route or destination.
Anyone who recognises the aircraft or has further information about the flight can contact the Bucks Free Press.
