A High Wycombe man has been charged with raping, sexually assaulting and strangling two women.

Andrew Dent, of Desborough Road, has been charged with nine counts of rape, five counts of sexual assault by penetration, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of voyeurism.

The charges brought against the 54-year-old relate to two women allegedly being raped, sexually assaulted, strangled and assaulted on separate occasions after meeting on a dating website or application.

One of the victims, who is in her 50s and from London, was at an address in Henley, south Oxfordshire on the evening of October 26, 2024.

While the other victim, a woman in her 30s and from South Wales, was attacked, and had intimate photographs of her taken without her consent, in a West Berkshire hotel on the evening of June 19, 2024.

Dent was remanded in custody after being charged and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, March 4.
