A High Wycombe drug dealer has been jailed after he was arrested inside the home of a vulnerable person.

Muhammed Qasim Saleem was jailed for four years at Amersham Law Courts on Thursday, January 29.

The court heard how the 27-year-old, of St Highs Avenue, High Wycombe, was arrested inside the home of a vulnerable person on July 29.

He was caught in possession of a large amount of class A drugs and was also on licence at the time.

Saleem was charged the following day with one count of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin) and one count of possession of cannabis.

He pleaded guilty to both offences.

Investigating officer, PC Matt Pepper of the Proactive Team in High Wycombe, said: “This is another investigation that demonstrates Thames Valley Police’s commitment to tackling drug gangs.

“We know who the drug dealers are in High Wycombe and we are working to bring them to justice. It is only a matter of time before drug dealers get a knock on their door, like Muhammed Qasim Saleem did.

“We thank our communities for the information they provide us around drug dealing. This case demonstrates that we will use this intelligence to bring offenders to justice.
