Residents who live near the Middle River Great Ouse in Milton Keynes are being told to ‘be prepared’ for possible flooding.

Heavy rain is expected to hit large parts of the country this month, and while the river levels are continuing to fall slowly in the Newport Pagnell Cemetery river gauge, there are concerns that the downpour, which is expected to happen overnight [January 19/20], could cause flooding.
