Firefighters have been called to a Buckinghamshire village after reports of a suspected gas leak.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from High Wycombe and Amersham to London Road, Little Kingshill on Friday, June 5.

It followed reports of a suspected gas leak at around 8.38am that morning.

Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus to enter the premises.

They carried out gas monitoring using specialist detection equipment, supported by a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Following a thorough search, crews identified no hazardous readings within the building.

"The issue was traced to a carbon dioxide cylinder located in the cellar, which was isolated to remove the risk."
