Firefighters, police and paramedics were called after a crash on a Buckinghamshire road.

Emergency services attended Mill Lane, Chalfont St Giles at around 12.20pm on Saturday (April 4) after reports of a single-vehicle crash.

The hybrid car involved was made safe by fire crews from Amersham and Gerrards Cross by isolating the battery.

They used small tools and equipment during the incident.

South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police also attended.

The fire service also attended a bedroom fire on the same day after reports of a mattress on fire at a property on Stocklake, Aylesbury.

Two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel were needed to extinguish the blaze.
